Privacy Policy

Welcome to Coaching To Be’s Privacy Policy.

My hope is that once you have read it you will feel reassured that I truly do have protection of your privacy at the heart of my business. Just as I want other companies to do for me!

As part of this care it’s one of my key aims to keep any information I hold about you to the absolute minimum that I need to be able to provide my services to you. It’s also critical to me to ensure that information I hold is kept securely.

I do not use any paper data collection.  Any ‘physical’ work that I do with you will be online and saved into an e-folder with your first name and initial only.

Electronic data that I keep about you is only to enable me to contact you for coaching sessions, invoicing or similar activities. This includes the following:

  • Your first name and surname
  • Your bank details, to be used for invoicing you
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Dates of appointments
  • Any online video account details, such as zoom etc.

I have electronic security systems to block online hacking and use password protected entry into my system and documents. My work laptop never leaves my premises, which are locked securely.

Electronic data about your name, email address, telephone number and any work I’ve saved in an e-folder about you will be kept on my systems for 1 year after your last session with me.  This is so that I can efficiently pick up with you if you want to work with me again within that timeframe.

After that I will delete all electronic information about you from my systems – with the exception of invoices, please see below.

You are entitled to access the personal information that I hold about you and request that I delete it at any time.

Requests should be emailed to as I am responsible for Coaching To Be’s data compliance.

However, there is an exception to what I can remove at that time.  Electronic invoices are kept for 7 years after the financial year in which we work.  This is in case HRMC or other such bodies need to check my tax returns.  I will delete electronic information about invoices after that time.

I would never sell, rent or share any of this information about you with other companies and businesses for their marketing purposes.  You have a relationship with me not them!

In addition to the general information described above, I also collect anonymised data by using Website Cookies.

When someone visits I use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site as it helps me to know what visitors are most interested in, so that I can try to give more of this.

Google Analytics information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting my website.

This policy will be reviewed in 3 years (January 2024). That is unless new data protection rules arise before then or I provide additional services, such as a newsletter.
